St. David's Celebration - Rehoboth Chapel, 28th Feb, 2014

Heats for NPT has Talent Competition - 2nd Feb, 2014

Christmas 2013

Christmas is a busy time of year for everyone, and GGG are no exception to the rule. We had several bookings for the festive period including three Christmas Fayres and 'Panto-ivity', all events put on by local churches. We also, unfortunately, had to turn down some booking requests as we were simply too busy, which was a shame, but hopefully we will be able to take on requests from those we had to turn down for events organised next Christmas.

In the latter part of 2013 I (Bethan) had noticed a poster advertising a local talent show. We entered, and thought no more of it until after Christmas 2013. Suddenly we realised the heats were only a couple of weeks away and started working on something a little bit different for it (hopefully I'll be able to upload an MP3 soon!). We went along to the heats with little hope of qualifying for the final, as we knew there were going to be at least a hundred, if not 200 acts looking for a place, but we sang our socks off and...we did it! We can't wait for the final....more details to come!

St David's Day is always busy for us. Since last year with the success of our Cawl a Chan we have had requests to sing our Welsh repertoire at all sorts of events. This year, though, we have had the pleasure of singing at Rehoboth Chapel in Briton Ferry. The audience were fantastic and really enjoyed - as did we! Although we used much of our repertoire from last year, we added to it this year with a new Tom Jones number - 'Delilah' as well as Mary Hopkins' 'Those Were the Days' - ardderchog!
