'Arglwydd Dyma Fi'

Here is one of our traditional Welsh songs, sung originally for our 'Cawl a Chan' evening in March 2013 for St David's day.

This song is entitled 'Gwahoddiad' or 'Invitation' and while it was originally written in English by an American pastor, it has become so popular in Wales that many believe it to be a traditional Welsh hymn.

It has also been recorded by Cerys Matthews of Catatonia, which has only served to increase its' popularity. I hope you think we do it justice!

Listen to our music...

Here you can listen to a few of our favourite musical numbers. Keep checking back - hoping to be adding more in the near future!

Our version of 'Kiss Me, Honey Honey' from our Welsh themed evening. The quality isn't brill and it's sideways, but I'm still learning!

'Since You've Been Gone'

Since we picked this little number up a few months ago it has become a favourite in our performances because of its naturally occurring harmonies and upbeat tempo.

'Since You've Been Gone' was written and sung originally by Russ Ballard, although it didn't gain notoriety until it was covered by Rock band 'Rainbow' in 1979 when it became a Top 10 hit.

'On My Own'

We recently picked this musical number to extend our repertoire and to try something a little different, and it really worked. Originally sang as a solo by the character Eponine in the musical Les Miserables, this version includes the whole choir, although you will also hear some beautiful solo work from the wonderfully talented Katie Greener.

'On My Own' is a challenging song, and stretched us vocally, so we're quite proud of how it turned out. Hope you enjoy!
